Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Full Time Days

We are hiring a Full-Time Days Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide healthcare in a correctional facility in Tucson, AZ.

As an NP, you will work alongside correctional officers and medical staff to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with various medical conditions, including chronic illnesses and emergencies.

Responsibilities include conducting examinations, developing treatment plans, administering medications, monitoring patient health, responding to emergencies, educating patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate in nursing and current Arizona NP license

Active DEA registration and BLS certification

Collaborative agreement with on-site physician

Knowledge of correctional healthcare laws, safety standards, and confidentiality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
